I ended up making them tannish (flat gold color) and sprinkling with fine glitter.  Hopefully that will satisfy the customer.

Anyone have any idea how to get the gold pigment a shiny gold color?  All I seem to get a dull color....despite how little or how much of the gold metallic pigment I add.  Tried to contact the supplier, with no useful info.  Basically was told the color will remain drab. 
 
I even tried candle paint, with no luck.  I am trying to color floating stars.

TIA for any info.

Actually several of the fragrance companies have lowered their minimums.  Lebermuth has a $150 minimum, but you can buy a mix of fragrances in smaller quantities.  I believe both Royal and Alpha have smaller minimums.  Intarome also sells in smaller quantities.  Of course, you get a better price the larger quantity you buy at once.

Yes, really. The only thing that limits debate is fear and censorship is the manifestation of that.  So what if people move back and forth "with studies and chemistry and all this other stuff?" This is what discussion and learning is all about, the transfer of ideas and if leads to argument then this illustrates further opportunity to learn.  Argument doesn't mean one has to be violent as the term seems to imply to a lot of people. Tongue

While I appreciate that in certain situations censorship is warranted, (for example, preventing children from viewing pornography) in this instance it only serves to highlight the ignorance in people on a topic that should concern us all. Smile

Is it really?  It seams to me that the reason for the censorship in the first place is the soy vs. paraffin debate. Why else would two groups go back and forth about studies and chemistry and all this other stuff? I think that the debate is the reason for the censorship, and that is what makes the communications that the author of this post received all the more alarming and sad.....
 
I am sorry that I did not make my post more clear as to why I was bring up that point.

I personly thing the entire soy vs. paraffin depate got out of hand years ago. IMHO, soy is a food, and therefor should not be burned so that we can have candles, it should be udes to feed the millions of starving people all over the world.
 
Everyone wax, soy or paraffin has it's good points and bad points. Yes, the paraffin could I guess be used to create more fuel to lower gas prices, but feed the starving people the soy insead of turning it into more consumer products to me is silly at  best.
 
Don't get me wrong, I have no issue with soy candle makers and soy buyers, I just hate any group, soy or paraffin or otherwise, that feels the need to beat there ideas into peoples heads.
 
Can't we all just get along?
